Sackers' Shredders Aid Knife Amnesty

Sackers are pleased to have been a part of Suffolk's Bin a Blade amnesty launched in December 2010 by teenager Holly Watson, BBC Radio Suffolk's Mark Murphy and Suffolk Constabulary's Chief Constable, Simon Ash.

An amazing 6,125 knives have been handed in at various police locations in the area to date and on 1st February they were all shredded at our Great Blakenham recycling plant.

Four static bins will remain in place and Suffolk Constabulary will continue to work with Holly and Radio Suffolk to make carrying a knife unacceptable in 2012.
